If I list a figure for sale at a certain price, and someone makes a counter offer to buy it for less than my initial asking price, can I refuse to sell the figure?

 

 

1) How are figure prices calculated on Action Figure Xchange?

 

Figure prices on AFX are calculated using the last price a particular figure has sold for on the Xchange. Buy and Sell orders submitted by AFX users help set the market for all price fluctuations. This creates a level playing field for collectors that is based on supply and demand for every figure traded on Action Figure Xchange.

2) How much does it cost to sell a figure on Action Figure Xchange?

 

Collectors who sell a figure through AFX will only have to pay a single transaction fee for each figure sold. You will never pay any other fees associated with selling your figure other than the one-time fee after it has been purchased. Please refer to the AFX Fee Structure to learn more about how the selling fee is calculated.

3) How much does it cost to open an account with Action Figure Xchange?

 

It is 100% free to open a standard trading account to buy and sell figures on Action Figure Xchange. Our Premiere Membership has an annual fee of only $20.00 per year.

4) How much does it cost to buy a figure on Action Figure Xchange?

 

AFX does not charge buyers a fee to purchase action figures on the Xchange. The buyer will only have to pay for the actual cost the seller is charging for the figure plus any applicable shipping costs.

5) How long does a figure remain on the Xchange after I list it for sale?

 

Once a seller lists a figure for sale through AFX it remains active on the Xchange indefinitely until either: A.) The listing is cancelled at the seller`s discretion -OR- B.) An AFX buyer purchases the figure There is no set duration like traditional auction services, thus giving your figure maximum exposure.

6) Can I sell vehicles, playsets, or other items on Action Figure Xchange?

 

At this point in time, only action figures may be sold on AFX. No vehicles, playsets, dioramas, or other collectibles may be listed on the Xchange. For a more specific explanation of how AFX defines an action figure, please refer to our Submission Guidelines.

7) Can I add pictures and some specific information about my listing when I sell a figure?

 

AFX users can list up to 3 photos and a short description of up to 75 characters 100% free of charge. There are no fees associated with adding these pictures or description to your lisitng.

8) Can I leave feedback for another AFX member?

 

Yes. You may leave feedback about the other party involved in any buy/sell transaction you make through Action Figure Xchange. See our Leave Feedback section.

9) Can I use Action Figure Xchange to track the value of my collection?

 

Yes. Action Figure Xchange offers Premiere Members the opportunity to value and track their collections using the real-time prices generated on the Xchange itself. You`ll never need a pricing guide again. You can instantly update your collection`s value with instant prices based on figures` supply and demand that is generated by AFX community members.

10) If I list a figure for sale at a certain price, and someone makes a counter offer to buy it for less than my initial asking price, can I refuse to sell the figure?

 

Yes. If you receive a buy offer for an amount that is lower than your initial asking price, you have the opportunity as the seller to decline the counter offer from the prospective buyer or counter with a new asking price. A sale on AFX will only be executed when the seller accepts the buyers bid price, and you receive an email from AFX confirming the transaction.
